If you are only going to buy one Reading Skills Help Book-- THIS IS IT!!!

I am incredibly impressed with this book. It has practical solutions broken down by different diagnostic issues a reading teacher or adult education teacher might face. There are lots of books out there with helps for phonics, helps for vocabulary, helps for comprehension. This has it all between it's covers. I've added this to the desk references in my office as Literacy Specialist for Literacy Volunteers. It's a key tool.

I have used many activities from this book for students who struggle with fluency, comprehension and accuracy. It offers different activities to keep the interest of the students but keep up the level of intensity needed. I recommend this book to anyone working with struggling readers.
